As we gear up for All-Star Weekend, Michael Jordan's birthday and the 30-year anniversary of its debut, the Air Jordan Retro 3 OG 'Cement' is highly coveted from nostalgia to style.
This sneaker debuted back in 1988 when MJ had his break-out season where he earned his first league MVP. It's back! And we're here to show you why it's a must-cop this season! Catch up with our sneaker-enthusiasts and UNBOXED correspondents, Alex and Brian, as they take you down memory lane.
Get a closer look at the AJ Retro 3 OG 'Black Cement,' the hugely anticipated releases this season. This 30th anniversary release celebrates the 1988 All-Star game. A completely remastered upper takes us right back to the old school complete with all the iconic detailing. Just like the iconic silhouettes of the past, this AJ3 is crafted with premium grain leather from heel to toe. A full shade of black covers the upper with contrasting hits of grey to the tongue as well as the lace surround. Even the subtle style cues remain true to the original including the perforated sections. A vibrant red colourway gives a bold contrast to the tongue and oversized Jumpan insignia makes an appearance.
The Air Jordan Retro 3 OG 'Black Cement' is scheduled to release this Saturday, February 17th at 10AM.
