So special, so legendary.

From the time these bad boys were created, the Jordan 3 has been one of Jumpman’s most iconic silhouettes. Not much of a shocker. The challenge is keeping the this silhouette relevant for all ages to come. Luckily, the Jordan 3 Charity Game perfectly embodies everything that makes the sneaker so legendary. Extremely understated compared to other Jordan 3 colorways, this shoe takes some of Jordan Brand’s classic features and combines them with a clean and contemporary design. This Jordan 3 colorway was originally unveiled at a footwear preview at the Nike NYHQ in late Spring. This particular sneaker recalls a 1988 charity game in which Michael Jordan dropped 54 points (again, legendary) while wearing the original red/white colorway of the Air Jordan 3. this patriotic theme is a nod to those custom jerseys worn by the players of the Magic Johnson UNCF Celebrity Basketball Game, while the added details arrive via the starry sock-liner, MJ insignia on the tongue, and a tri-color look on the midsole. The Air Jordan Retro 3 'Charity Game' is available this Saturday, June 30th at 10AM. Cop your pair at RUVilla.com!
