There’s a New Air Jordan 2 Retro Low Coming to Town

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand launched a new Air Jordan 2 colorway inspired by the model’s Italian roots. Now, this December, that “Origins” tale will be getting an action-packed sequel.

This upcoming take on the ‘80s basketball sneaker follows the path that the aforementioned “Origins” Air Jordan 2 laid last month. Unlike the “Origins” Air Jordan 2, this new pair features a premium black leather base, though it does still feature the same “Fir” and “Fire Red” accents, which nod to the sneaker’s heritage. The color combination also doubles as a Christmas-themed affair, whether intentional or not.

The sneaker is branded minimally, with only Wings-logo embellishments on the tongues and Nike lettering on the bottoms signifying its make. Speaking of the bottoms, this sneaker features blacked-out foam midsole units, which encase the hidden Air cushioning system. “Cement Grey” and “Fire Red” rubber outsoles bring things full circle.

Will you be looking to snag a pair? This Air Jordan 2 Retro Low will be available on Saturday, December 16th, both in-store and online at DTLR.com in men’s and grade-school sizes.
