The DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign” is Coming Soon

The ongoing partnership between New Balance and lifestyle retailer DTLR has been anything but dormant. This year, the dynamic duo erupted with collaborative takes on the 990v3 and 2002R – but that was just the beginning.

For their latest project, DTLR and New Balance have cooked up a brand-new take on the 9060 silhouette, inspired by volcanic outbursts. Dubbed “Fire Sign,” the pair boasts a breathable mesh upper done in a fiery mix of red and orange hues, which fade into vibrant yellows. Buttery suede overlays appear in “Red Lava,” bright orange, and black. The “N”-logo overlays are done in metallic silver leather, as are the synthetic accents on the toeboxes, eyestays, and heels. Brash black hits set everything off.

Down below, the DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign” has an exaggerated, dual-density foam midsole featuring ABZORB and SBS technologies. There’s a blacked-out CR device in the heels, which adds stability. The colorway is completed with black rubber outsole pods.

While the accents themselves are loud, the DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign” is otherwise quiet, making them easy to wear year-round.

Want to get your hands on this scorching sneaker? The DTLR x New Balance 9060 “Fire Sign” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on November 17th in full-family sizing.
