Beauty and the Retro 3 Beast.
Deep in the concrete jungle, there are many sneakerheads yearning to get their hands on the latest edition of the Retro 3. From the baller with hoop dreams to the collector admiring the ballers, the concrete jungle has many that reside amongst the food chain. Primitive vibes instantly come into play if you are looking to get your hands on a pair. Bland phrases like, “ Your entry wasn't selected” have turned predators to prey.
Behind the Design
Back by popular demand, the “Animal Instinct” design has been revamped with an all-inclusive 2.0 upgrade. Similar to a safari, the fabric choices are skins that come from the animal kingdom. Slithering all over the toe tip is snakeskin scales colored in stone grey. Luxuriously black ostrich cover surrounding areas, while crocodile leather provides a solid foundation for the upper. Graphite pebbles grace the tongue and throat of the shoe. Each eyestay remained original with its black sockets and shoelaces to match.
An exception to this rule has always been the alternate red eyestay at the top of the sneaker, along with the iconic Jumpman leaping high on both tongues. Sunny accents of yellow are vividly featured in the double eyelet and on the shiny heel tabs. Boldly on the mustache is another Jumpman logo with the commemorated phrase ‘AIR’ written underneath. Above lies the heel notch that is laced in green suede for your touching pleasure. Both the vamp and outsole are white, with the midsole above the ‘Air Unit’ is black.
To make the shoe complete, the heel counter has some muddy brown elephant print that’ll make you want to visit the zoo. Overall, this animal-inspired colorway is a beast!
