The Air Jordan 13 Retro “University Blue” is Almost Here

When Michael Jordan was playing ball at the University of North Carolina, it’s unlikely that he foresaw having a massively lucrative signature sneaker, let alone 13 of them. The Air Jordan 13 was certainly not on anyone’s mind back in Mike’s Chapel Hill days, but that hasn’t stopped Jordan Brand from putting the signature Tar Heels hue onto its panels.

Set to land later this month, the “University Blue” Air Jordan 13 features a reflective, dimpled black mesh upper, which envelops the quarter panels. That same tone appears on the sneaker’s leather toeboxes. From there, “University Blue” suede underlays dress the side panels and heels. The model’s signature holographic cat-eye emblems grace the lateral heels, while the tongues display embroidered Jumpman logos.

Descending towards the bottom, you’ll find foam midsoles that come wrapped in “University Blue” suede. The colorway is complete with black rubber outsole units, which reveal the sneaker’s midfoot carbon fiber shank.
