The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Skyline” is Dropping Soon

Jordan Brand has mastered the art of storytelling in the sneaker space. And even after all these years, there’s no shortage of stories to tell – Michael Jordan’s career had more twists, turns, and nuances than your favorite mystery novel.

For its latest release, the sportswear brand tapped into its roots, dressing the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in a color scheme inspired by Chicago’s skyline. Appropriately named “Skyline,” this upcoming colorway features white leather on the toeboxes and quarter panels. From there, canvas panels are laid overtop – they feature a gradient color combination inspired by the backdrop from Michael Jordan’s famous “Jumpman” photo from 1985. Black Swoosh overlays, laces, Wings logos, and ankle collar panels round out the design.

The upper stands atop rubber midsoles that have been given a vintage-esque “Sail” paint job. Blacked-out rubber outsole units complete the look.

Looking to get your hands on a pair? The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Skyline” will be available in-store only on April 8th in men’s sizing.
