Orange you glad about the new Air Jordan 13?
Jordan Brand is at it again with another Player Exclusive “PE” inspired by the release of the Air Jordan XIII (13). If you’ve been following my other blogs, you probably know by now that I’m a big Jordan 13 fan. In fact, I’d go so far as saying that they are my favorite. For me, it’s a mix between the design and the fact that my own mom stood in line for hours for the original Flint release. Thanks, mom!
This pair, being nicknamed “Starfish” across the internet, is pretty simple in theory but packs a loud punch with Starfish Orange suede running the length of the shoe. This is what’s great about the design of this shoe. It’s so versatile that even an All-White upper can be completely transformed with the use of one color. Outside of the use of Starfish Orange, the famous dimpled uppers, toe box, and tongue are all White. Black is found on the tongue piping, sock liner, and midsole “pods”. The classic details of the original 13’s are also found on this pair which include the hologram “eyeball” logo towards the heal and the Green Jumpman logo on the sole.
