Sneaker of the Week: Air Jordan 33 "Vast Grey"

The Air Jordan 33 rewrites the story of an iconic basketball shoe.

Long after Michael Jordan decided to retire (for the second time), sneaker aficionados worldwide continue to cop various colorways in retro designs that debuted decades ago. Once Jordan retired, a lot of sneakerheads stopped buying new designs, while keeping dear to their hearts the shoes he played in worthy of purchase. Brand Jordan is shifting this common trend by releasing a new shoe that is innovative, yet relevant in today’s creative climate.

The Nike Air Jordan 33 is proof that the company is continuing to carry an enriched history that all sneakerheads have grown to idolize. The distinct colorway shows a plethora of muted hues, along with vibrant accents to make detailed features stand out. Jumpman signs on the tongue are shimmering with a blue emerald finish. Across the upper is an elastic lime green strap used to give foot reinforcement. To ensure you prepare yourself for flight, the ‘pull to release’ yellow tap is a cool hazard label fit for a true hooper. Leather overlays the midsole in a multitude of similar colors to show limited contrast throughout the shoe. Flight speed technology is engineered in the shoe for ultimate performance during pivotal moments.

The Air Jordan 33 will be released Thursday, March 7 both in-store and online HERE.
