Set to Drop: Women's Air Jordan 8 Retro "Burgundy"

After several years of pleading his case, Tinker Hatfield finally convinced Nike to allow him to design an Air Jordan sneaker without featuring a Nike logo. He felt that Jordan Brand was strong enough to stand on its own, and with the release of the Air Jordan 8, the first Jordan signature shoe without a Nike logo hit the market. The Air Jordan 8 is back and kicks off December with a clean colorway made just for the ladies.

The uppers are comprised of both White leather and premium Gray suede. The toebox, mid foot and straps (also know as bunny ears) are White leather while the Gray suede is used for the overlay that wraps around the back of the shoe and extends up to the collar. For contrast, Black can be found throughout the shoe thanks to the Black patent leather on the Velcro strap along with the Black neoprene tongue that features a Blue Jumpman surrounded by White, Red, and Black highlights. Burgundy details can be found on the strap holders, brushstroke pattern on both the lateral and medial side plastic overlays, and the midsole.

All-together this Air Jordan 8 Retro is tastefully done and perfect for a Holiday pick up.

The Air Jordan 8 "Burgundy" release on December 4, 2020, and retail for $190 USD both in stores and online at DTLR.com
