Photographer and sneaker customizer, Alexander John, teams up with PUMA to design a '90s music-inspired sneaker.
The new RS-X Toys is inspired by classic mixtapes of the '90s hip-hop scene. Multifaceted artist Alexander John and Roc Nation Executive Emory Jones customized this silhouette with a bold color way and a clean, retro aesthetic.
Key Features of the bold and colorful shoe include leather, textile and rubber overlays, PUMA's signature RS technology on the midsole, hand painted and custom applied graphic treatments by the designer, and a customized box with mixtape graphics. The RS-X Mixtape will continue in the fleet of PUMA's popular RS sneaker franchise.
