Set To Drop: Air Jordan XII Royalty
Published:September 11, 2021
The Air Jordan 12’s released during the height of Jordan’s NBA career. The sneakers dressed his feat during a season where Jordan won another ring and was crowned the league’s Most Valuable Player. Of course, it’s hard to follow the iconic design of the Air Jordan 11’s but the 12’s still delivered clean lines and subtle details that rank them among the top Air Jordan designs in the entire signature collection. Drawing very close similarities to the original Air Jordan 12 Taxis, the “Royalty” 12 Retros offer a touch of elegance mixed with the classic OG colorway.
White leather uppers comprise a majority of the shoe with the famous vertical stitching that the 12’s are known for. The toe sports Black pebbled leather along with a Black pebbled rubber midsole atop a Black sole. A Gold flap with an embossed “JUMPMAN” replaces the original Black Rubber “JUMPMAN” flap giving the pair that touch of “Royalty”. Like the originals, the Royalty Retro lace eyelets are also Gold. Continuing on with the details, a Gold Jumpman logo followed by “TWO3” are stitched down the White tongue, and a Black Jumpman logo along with “JORDAN” and a White “23” grace the heal to finish off the look. The Air Jordan 12 Royalty gives sneakerheads who have missed out on the Taxis a great opportunity to own a pair very similar.
With a release day of Saturday, November 13 the Air Jordan 12 Royalty Retros will release in a full family size run and will retail in men’s for $190. We expect this pair to go fast so be sure to keep tabs on our social media and blog for the latest raffle and release information.
