Set To Drop: Air Jordan Retro 12 “Indigo”
Published:August 20, 2020
Hands down, the 11’s has always had the entire world in a complete frenzy. With its groundbreaking innovations, Brand Jordan looked to switch gears in order to make creative waves for the next slated release. As we see today, those innovations have significantly paid off in a collection of colorways that are either retroed, created, or in some cases a mixture of both. One colorway that instantly comes to mind is the iconic “Obsidian” 12’s that practically mirror the slated release. Despite the apparent resemblance, there are some distinct differences along with long-awaited returns.
Behind the Design
The high top upper follows the rubric by being predominantly Stone Blue from ankle to toe. At the top of the ankle are the notorious lace loops. Brand Jordan kept it traditional with the high flying Jumpman logo engraved in the lace loops. Not to mention, the lace loops are coated in a metallic silver finish.
Smooth to your fingers is the Nubuck material used instead of its original fabric selection of leather. Each rectangular section is stitched to perfection in a cool sunrise pattern. A curvy overlay begins the continued surge of White, following from the mudguard/midsole down to the grooved rubber outsole. Legend Blue eloquently accented visual text and logo branding respectively. With “Quality Inspired By The Greatest Player Ever.”, this sneaker is ready to make a new and improved return.
