This iconic shoe enjoys all the beloved details of the 1991 Original
In the 1991 NBA Season, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls won their first NBA Championship. The shoes Michael was wearing that day were the Air Jordan 6 Infrared.
Back then the coveted sneaker retailed for $125 and featured a nubuck leather upper, perforated side panel, neoprene sleeve, reflective detailing, and translucent rubber sole. The iconic "Nike Air” on the back was an automatic win for the design back in 1991 and was one attribute that was yearned for to stay the same in this upcoming retro release. Luckily for us, the 2019 pair features the original infrared color and all the features for the most part have stayed the same. The only big difference is the $200 price tag but that probably won’t stop anyone from copping these bad boys.
The Air Jordan Retro 6 "Infrared" are set to release during All-Star Weekend, Saturday, February 16 in Mens and Kids sizes here.
