Set to Drop: Air Jordan 4 Starfish

Trailing the release of the Air Jordan 13 retro Starfish comes another popular Jordan retro showcasing the same Starfish Orange color. The latest retro to hit shelves is the Air Jordan 4 Starfish made exclusively for women. This pair brings a fun twist to a classic silhouette by mixing the use of colors and materials.
While at first glance this pair closely resembles the classic “Bred” colorway, upon further examination, you start to notice the subtle Starfish undertones of the uppers. The woven Black layer of the uppers allows just enough space for the underneath Starfish color to show through giving the pair a unique look. Starfish Orange is also prevalent around stitching where layers of the shoe come together. Elsewhere, yes, the pair takes on more of the “Bred” colorway with the classic use of Grey, Black, and White in their normal placements. The pair’s sole is splashed with Starfish that carries up into the visible midsole towards the toe and heel. A Grey Jumpman logo can be found on the back of the heal to finish off the look.
There’s no rule in the sneaker code of conduct book that guys can’t rock women’s sneakers. In fact, some of my favorite Jordan colorways have released only in women’s sizing. However, my gut tells me there will be plenty of people lined up to cop a pair of Starfish 4’s which means you’ll need to pay attention to our social and blog for all of the latest raffle and release information.
