Set to Drop: Air Jordan 1 Retro "Black and Gold"

Cyber Monday’s Jordan drop does not disappoint as the brand is releasing their most iconic sneaker, the Air Jordan 1, in another highly anticipated colorway. Since the release of ESPN’s “The Last Dance”, a documentary highlighting the Chicago Bulls in the ’90s, the Air Jordan line has seen a considerable boost in sales and Nike continues to ride the wave with this release.
For this Air Jordan 1 Retro, the iconic design is predominately comprised of Black patent leather which was made famous on a shoe by Tinker Hatfield on the Air Jordan XI’s. The toe box, fore forefoot, lateral sides, ankle, and ankle flaps are all covered in Black patent giving the shoe stealth and sleek look. A Metallic Gold swoosh outlined in Gold stitching graces both the exterior and interior laterals while the infamous Air Jordan Wings logo in Gold is found on the exterior ankle flap. The ankle collars are dressed in the same Metallic Gold but in a satin finish which is a nice contrast in texture to the pair. Black midsoles with Metallic Gold stitching and Black outsoles help finish off the stealth look.
The mix of premium materials and rich color selection both add to the luxurious feel of this particular Air Jordan 1 Retro.
