Set to Drop: Air Jordan 1 Mid "Let(her)man"

There’s a sense of pride you get from putting on that jacket for the first time. It’s a symbol of the countless hours you’ve put your body through to perfect your craft. It’s an accomplishment not to be taken lightly and through a diverse mix of colors, materials, and premium accents much like a letterman jacket, the latest Air Jordan 1 Mid “Let(her)man” pays tribute to athletes at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU). The same sense of pride you get from a jacket should be the same feeling you get as you lace up the “Let(her)mans”.
Starting at the bottom and working our way up the sneaker, the Let(her)man sits on a Sail midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole. Black premium leather dresses the forefoot and heel of the shoe while Sail is used on the toe box, lateral, collar, and tongue in a mix of leather and corduroy. Gym Red overlays create a nice contrast giving the shoe that University look while the Blue-tinted felt Swoosh outlined in Gold tips the hat to the back of a letterman jacket design. On the tongue, you’ll find a Gold-stitched Jumpman with “AIR” underneath atop a Black patch and the iconic Wings logo can be found on the ankle collar in Metallic Gold.
