Set To Drop: Adidas UltraBOOST 4.0 “Chinese New Year”

Adidas is set to celebrate this year's Chinese New Year with some fresh BOOST.
In the tradition of the Chinese New Year, each year is symbolized by one of the twelve spirit animals of the Chinese Zodiac, making this year the Year of the Pig. With the Chinese New Year landing on February 5, Adidas is set to release their 2019 Chinese New Year edition of the UltraBOOST 4.0. Adidas’ latest drop features a speckled black/grey upper and heel counter. The cage around the midfoot sports a red three stripe accent derived from red lanterns that are lit and displayed throughout the holiday thought to portray a sense of good luck and prosperity for the year. The laces come in a special pink and black graphic pattern with a unique tongue tag that sports the trademark adidas logo with “Ren Zhe”, after the acclaimed Chinese sculptor, printed in white. The signature white boost midsole accompanies the silhouette and is lined with the durable black Continental rubber outsole you’ve come to expect.
