Luxe Pony Hair Covers the Women’s Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Medium Grey”

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG has arguably been the most popular sneaker silhouette of the last decade, and as such, Jordan Brand has been keen to keep it in its lineup year-round. We’ve seen a handful of Jordan 1 colorways hit shelves this year, including the highly sought-after “Chicago” retro, and it looks like we’ll be getting one more before 2022 comes to a close.

Set to land later this month, the women’s-exclusive Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Medium Grey” comes clad in supple leather done in the titular tone. From there, black pony hair overlays shroud the mudguards, eyestays, ankle-collar flaps, and heel panels. Metallic Wings-logo emblems leap off the lateral ankle collar flaps, while the tongue tabs take on classic Nike Air branding. The resulting combination gives off a similar vibe to the “Twist” Air Jordan 1 from 2019.

This upcoming colorway is finished classically, with white rubber midsole units and rubber outsoles done in black.
