Tinker Hatfield’s original Air Jordan III sketch comes to life to celebrate 30 years of the iconic model. Now, the Air Jordan III 'Tinker' returns in honor of Hatfield's birthday on April 30th.

Tinker Hatfield is not just a sneaker legend for the Jordan and Nike brand, but he was way ahead of the whole sneaker game before we even knew we loved it. Afterall, he knew Michael Jordan wasn’t very happy with the Air Jordan 2. Afterall, he broke his foot in it. Featuring an artful, accessible blend of white, black and grey colorways, Nike’s new Air Jordan 3 prototype is designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield and is geared towards the diehard Jordan enthusiast. To promote the shoe, the Swoosh have also paired its introductory announcement with the revealing of a previously-archived Tinker Hatfield sketch, adding to the celebration surrounding the 30th anniversary of the AJ III.
