Don’t Sleep on the Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “Python”

Last month, Jordan Brand launched the Air Jordan 2 “Python,” inspired by the divisive Nike Air Python from 1987. That sneaker added a luxe edge to the Air Jordan 2 with premium leather uppers and faux-snakeskin quarter panels. If you couldn’t cop that sneaker, don’t worry – another “Python” Air Jordan 2 Retro Low is on the way.

Slated to land in early February, the Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “Python” boasts a smooth white leather upper like its high-top companion. Faux-reptile paneling covers the lateral and medial sides in an earthy “Sanddrift” and “Metallic Silver” combination, providing textural contrast.

As is the case with most Air Jordan 2s, branding is minimal. The padded leather tongues display “Cement Grey” Wings logos, while Nike lettering lands on the outsoles.

Moving towards the sole, you’ll find foam midsole units done in a vintage-esque “Sail” tone. “Cement Grey” and “Neutral Grey” team up to shade the sneaker’s rubber outsoles, completing the design.

Will you be looking to cop? The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low “Python” is releasing in-store and online at DTLR.com on Wednesday, February 7th. The sneaker will be available in men’s sizing for a retail price of $150.
