Coming Soon: Air Jordan 9 Retro “Fire Red”

Jordan aficionados are no doubt familiar with the brand’s “Fire Red” colorway. It’s a scheme that has appeared on many models in Michael Jordan’s signature line over the years, including the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, and Air Jordan 5. Now, this month, the classic color combination is set to land on the Air Jordan 9 for the first time.

The upcoming “Fire Red” Air Jordan 9 features a base composed primarily of smooth white leather. From there, “Cool Grey”–colored patent leather overlays wrap from the toeboxes up to the ankle collars. The two-toned base is set off by fierce “Fire Red” eyelets and pull-tabs – the heelside Jumpman emblems and “23” embroidery also take on the titular tone.

Moving towards the sole, you’ll find more of the same. Foam midsole units are shellacked with shiny “Cool Grey” paint, while rubber outsoles are done in white. “Fire Red” Jumpman insignias pop off the lateral sides of the outsoles, completing the look.

Don’t sleep – the Air Jordan 9 Retro “Fire Red” will be available on and DTLR stores on November 23rd in men’s and grade-school sizes.
