Coming Soon: Air Jordan 4 Retro “Midnight Navy”

As temperatures drop, Jordan Brand’s retro-release schedule will lean heavily on the Air Jordan 4 to heat things back up. Earlier this month, the sportswear label revealed a “Purple Canyon” colorway of the ‘80s basketball silhouette, but that’s not all that’s in store for the model this October.

In just a few weeks, Jordan Brand plans to release a new “Midnight Navy” take on the Air Jordan 4. The upper is composed of white tumbled leather, while tonal TPU-mesh overlays appear on the side panels and lowermost tongue portions. TPU side-panel wings and heel tabs are done in a light grey tone with “Midnight Navy” paint spatter, the latter of which bear “Midnight Navy” Jumpman emblems.

The titular tone is used to dress the lowermost and uppermost TPU eyestays, the tongues’ Jumpman-branded tags, and portions of the rubber outsole. Foam midsole units are split, with the top portions taking on the same speckled color as the side-panel wings, and the lower portions done in white.
