Few sneakers carry the same legendary status as the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe.” Now, Jordan Brand is bringing back the iconic colorway with a fresh twist in the form of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black Toe Reimagined.” Set to release later this month, this new iteration picks up where the “Lost & Found” and “Royal Reimagined” releases left off, blending nostalgic design with modern sensibilities.

The “Black Toe Reimagined” stays true to the essence of the original but introduces key vintage-inspired elements. The sneaker features a premium leather upper dressed in the unmistakable black, white, and “Varsity Red” color blocking. However, it’s this version’s aged aesthetic and nods to early Air Jordan history that set it apart from Retro releases of the past.

One of the most striking changes is the collar branding. Instead of the traditional Wings logo, Jordan Brand has opted for “Air Jordan” lettering, a design choice inspired by an early Air Jordan 1 promo sample. This subtle yet historically significant alteration gives the sneaker an authentic archival feel.

Another standout feature is the “Sail” midsole, which heightens the sneaker’s vintage-inspired edge by creating an aged, worn-in look. This design approach mirrors the “Lost & Found” Air Jordan 1, reinforcing the “Reimagined” series' theme of blending heritage with modernity.
