Game Changers: DTLR, New Balance, and Klutch Athletics Team Up with Chase Young for a Youth Football Experience in D.C.

At DTLR, we’re always looking for meaningful ways to pour back into our communities — and when sports, youth empowerment, and culture collide, we’re all in.

For the second year in a row, we teamed up with New Balance and Klutch Athletics to host a youth football clinic in the heart of Washington, D.C., with none other than hometown hero and NFL star Chase Young leading the charge.

Building Confidence Through the Game

Set against the backdrop of the iconic RFK Fields, we welcomed players from local youth football teams and community organizations for a day packed with drills, mentorship, competition, and connection.

Chase Young didn’t just show up — he showed out. With passion and purpose, he engaged directly with the young athletes, offering one-on-one tips, motivation, and insight from his experience at the highest level of the game. Whether it was running through skill-building drills or breaking down technique, Chase was fully locked in — and so were the kids.

From high-energy drills to one-on-one competitions to a full slate of 7-on-7 flag football games, the day was filled with moments these players will never forget. The event wrapped with a meet-and-greet and autograph session, giving each athlete a personal moment with one of the most dominant forces in football today.

A Partnership Rooted in Purpose

This wasn’t just about football. This was about access, opportunity, and inspiration.

New Balance and Klutch Athletics recently announced their co-authorship — a partnership that’s already making waves. Klutch Athletics, founded by sports agent and cultural powerhouse Rich Paul, is a Black-owned sportswear brand designed to serve athletes at every level — from youth to collegiate to pro. It’s a movement that aligns perfectly with DTLR’s mission to uplift and empower communities through sport and style.

The launch collection from Klutch Athletics is more than just apparel — it’s a statement. Crafted for performance and built with purpose, the line delivers premium training gear for all athletes, regardless of gender, background, or sport.
