Atlanta Inquirer

Atlanta Hawks forward Josh Smith visited South Atlanta High School recently for a pep rally to celebrate DTLR’s $3,800 donation for the inaugural “G’s for 3’s” program. The school will allocate the money for its athletic program.

Every three-point shot made by Josh Smith resulted in a $100 donation by DTLR to South Atlanta High School during the 2006-07 season.

Throughout the season, South Atlanta High School tracked Smith’s progress with morning announcements and by posting banners for each made three-point shot.
