Hanover, MD

On July 30, 2008, national recording artist T.I. came to the DTLR corporate office to promote his September 30, 2008 release of T.I. Paper Trail. He discussed how this album is not a typical T.I. album in regards to its lack of references to guns and drugs in his songs and its overall sound. In addition, T.I. discussed his clothing line AKOO (A King Of Oneself) and his Respect My Vote Campaign. Respect My Vote promotes and encourages everyone, particularly young adults to make a difference by registering to vote and being apart of the upcoming election. T.I. stressed the importance of how one vote can truly make a difference, and since his vote can not be honored that he hopes to encourage as many people as he can to vote for this years election. Before he left T.I. made sure he signed autographs and took pictures with the DJs and DTLR staff. Check out the interview on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIwP4JOi2jY
